Licensed R.E Salesperson
Paul Son is very personal and engaged, not robotic or systemic in the way he works with clients. He sees every person and property as unique, and deserving of customized attention and creativity. Because of Paul’s tailored approach, he is good at narrowing down home choices to fit his client’s exact needs. He considers their specific criteria, explores all the options, and helps people feel confident that they’ve rented or purchased the best apartment for their budget and lifestyle.
Originally from beautiful Honolulu, Hawaii, Paul earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film and Media Studies from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA. A filmmaker at heart, he has since worked at MTV2, started a video magazine in hip hop, was a music producer, and most recently, served as a tech developer/engineer at Tru Optik Data Corp. Paul received his New York real estate license in 2009 and has years of experience managing tenants in a family building in Manhattan. He has a passion for the business and is very sociable and hardworking.
Clients appreciate Paul’s one-on-one style and natural rapport building. He also brings solid knowledge of NYC’s different neighborhoods and listings, and can smoothly guide his clients from inquiry to closing with success. A Manhattan resident for over 13 years, Paul lives in Chinatown and specializes in downtown rentals, primarily in Lower Manhattan, Chinatown, Little Italy, SoHo, the Lower East Side and East Village.
Outside of real estate, film and tech are Paul’s favorite hobbies. He is also a big fan of the sport of boxing; and he has the cutest Scottish Fold kitten he loves coming home to.
